Teflon®
As part of its long-term commitment to quality, ICB works closely with DuPont. ICB also has a licence agreement for the use of the Teflon® brand name. We benefit not only from a strong global brand and an outstanding range of products, but also from the comprehensive know-how only a partner such as DuPont can provide.
DuPont is working with CEN (European Committee for Standardisation) on establishing an EN (European Norm) for cookware.
As a result, products with DuPont non-stick coatings are completely safe for normal kitchen and houseware use. Their safety has been confirmed by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) by extensive testing at DuPont’s in-house laboratories and by the millions consumers all over the world who have used DuPont non-stick coated products safely for over 40 years.
